On January 28 I made my debut at the Noyo River Grill in Noyo Harbor. It was a very pleasant evening and my thanks go out to owners Jim and Jimmy for bringing live music to their establishment. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, the food and service is great, and the people are friendly. I’m looking forward to performing there again on February 18th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Hope to see you there!
I have really enjoyed my gigs at Headlands Coffee house (120 Laurel St. in Fort Bragg). It’s a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Perfect for playing acoustic music! The staff are great and the owners, Lenore and Juan, are wonderful people. Their commitment to supporting local musicians is exemplified by their hosting of live music 7 nights a week. My appreciation goes out to them.
Caspar Pub Night, hosted on the second Friday of every month at the Caspar Community Center, is a great way for musicians seeking experience performing live to play in a friendly, laid back atmosphere. More experienced musicians can also gain extra exposure, try out new material, and promote up coming gigs to a very receptive and gracious audience.
Attendees are served an awesome dinner, and beer and wine are available. And by the way, the whole event is organized and operated by volunteers!
